Use:
Leptos is the generic form of Meridia. It is used for the control of obesity or weight reduction. It works best when combined with a balanced calorie controlled diet and a regular exercise regime. Studies have previously linked obesity with certain forms of cardi-vasucular disease, diabetes and some respiratory complaints.

How it works:
Leptos affects the appetite control area of the brain. This reduces the feeling of hunger in the patient.

Dosage:
Usual prescribed dosages say to take 1 10mg OR 15mg tablet daily. It is not recommended that you take more than 15mg per day. Please consult your doctor or medical professional if you are unsure as to the suitable dosage for your needs

Precautions:
Some weight loss medications have been linked with pulmonary hypertension. However, because this condition is rare, the link it is not known whether the use of Leptos is a direct cause of the disease.

Another condition linked to the taking of Sibutamine hydrochloride is bleeding. Consult your doctor or medical professional if you are combining this medication with others that affect hemostasis or platelet function.

Patients with renal or hepatic disfunction should avoid taking Leptos.

Leptos is not intended for use in obese children under 18 years as safety and efficacy in this population has not been established.

Leptos is not intended for use in elderly patients over 65 years of age as safety and efficacy in this population has not been established.
